Pulled Pork Lunch with a Purpose … and Service Dogs

Community support makes a lasting difference and on Thursday, May 28th, Cornerstone Caregiving is bringing people together for a meaningful cause. From 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Cornerstone Caregiving will host a Pulled Pork Lunch fundraiser at 4546 Corporate Drive in West Des Moines, Iowa, with 100% of proceeds benefiting Puppy Jake Foundation.
This event is more than just a lunch. It is an opportunity for the community to come together in support of disabled military veterans and the life-changing service dogs trained through Puppy Jake Foundation.
Guests can enjoy:
- Smoked meat BBQ
- Side dishes
- Music
- Raffles
- Service dogs on-site
Events like this help continue the work of providing professionally trained service dogs to veterans who rely on them for greater independence and daily support. Every meal purchased and every donation made directly supports the training and placement of these dogs.
Puppy Jake Foundation is grateful for community partners like Cornerstone Caregiving that recognize the impact service dogs can make in the lives of veterans. Their support helps ensure more veterans can be matched with highly trained service dogs at no cost to them.
Free will donations are also accepted through cash, credit/debit card, or QR code on the day of the event.
