For most golfers, a day on the course is about enjoying time with friends and a little friendly competition. At the Puppy Jake Classic, it’s also about changing the life of a military veteran.
Every golfer, sponsor, volunteer, and donor helps Puppy Jake Foundation provide professionally trained service dogs to military veterans at no cost. Funds raised through the tournament support every step of a service dog’s journey—from breeding and veterinary care to months of specialized training before a dog is matched with a veteran.
Join us on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at Toad Valley Golf Course for the 6th Annual Puppy Jake Classic. Whether you’re returning with your foursome or playing for the first time, you’ll enjoy a great day of golf while making a lasting impact.
This year’s tournament features a four-person scramble, lunch, contests, prizes, and an exciting new addition—our K-9 Challenge Holes.
At Operation Tap-In, golfers who land inside a designated circle on the green will have a Puppy Jake service dog in training retrieve their ball and finish the hole. At K-9 Airlift, golfers can choose to have one of our future service dogs carry their ball down the fairway before taking their next shot. These fun, interactive experiences give golfers a chance to see firsthand the remarkable dogs they’re helping train.
Businesses can also join the mission through sponsorship opportunities ranging from Hole Sponsorships to Premier Sponsorships. Sponsorships of $3,000 or more include membership in Puppy Jake Foundation’s Tip of the Spear Society, recognizing organizations that make a significant investment in helping us serve more veterans.
Whether you register a foursome, become a sponsor, volunteer, or make a donation, you’ll be part of something much bigger than a golf tournament. You’ll be helping military veterans regain confidence, independence, and the freedom that comes with a highly trained service dog.
